In "Day of Infamy" Grandma and John look at a photo of him in WWI. That photo shows John wearing the same uniform he wore here. I think the photo was taken during filming of this episode.

I love this episode but I don't think I ever saw the ending. I just saw the episode the other day and the final scene was cut- in order to make room for more commercials, I assume. This is a shame. The ending is priceless and is so beautiful.
