I have used pixabay for reference photo's as well as unsplash and pexels. Great websites for getting lost for hours trying to find the right photo, lol 😂. Your cat is hilarious btw. I like the method you use for tracing your subject and putting it on the canvas. I might need to give that a try. I do the grid and sketch usually. Anyway...I subscribed to your channel. I enjoy hearing from and interacting with other artists. I'm pretty sure I can learn from you.

Your thought process is quite entertaining. I can relate though...I tend to think out loud when I paint. I usually do a voice over afterwards, as I don't have a lapelle microphone (yet), so I jot down my thoughts as I paint (if I remember, ahhahah). And sometimes I discuss techniques or just my own opinion on stuff, whilst showcasing what I'm painting for just something for people to watch, whilst I yammer on.

Some say I shouldn't share when I get nervous, don't like something or a stage of the painting. BUT I think so many of us do that and it is a process to work through it. It is part of the fun/challenge. 😂 My older videos don't have a micro phone - they still get views ❤ Fun to chat with a fellow artist!

Today I'm checking out some of your videos and I really like this one. I have yet to get commissions as I am in need to improve that marketing skill set 😊. I don't think tracing is cheating at all. Some use projectors and it's all to make your process smoother and easier. If you were to find out a way to make cleaning the toilet easier and faster, they call it a Life Hack...but somehow that doesn't apply to artists??!! Bunch of baloney.

I love this one . Bears are my favorite wildlife to go watch for . First week of September we went to cades cove and saw 7 bears in the trees eatting wild Cherries 🍒
