Interesting at the beginning where it shows Mary and Diana getting flowers, but not Flo. Cindy Birdsong had been held over Flo’s head for several weeks as her potential replacement, and I wonder if there was something intentional behind her not getting flowers. Unfortunately, the guy continued to allow her to repeatedly hit him in the head even covering his mouth with her hands and didn’t put a stop to it.☹️Perhaps the audience was amused by the unnecessary shenanigans. Diana looked great in that dress and spoke well. I like that she didn’t approve of what Marvin Gaye said about her ‘made of steel’ meaning ‘demanding’ and ‘perfectionist’ way of handling conducting herself. It’s a tough business being a talented singer who wants everything to go as planned.

Florence is just plain lovely. The queen.

She's a lovely lady. Comes across as just a nice positive soul, she seems to get along with every interviewer. I think she's got that ego and drive that tainted her legacy (stepping over others to get where she wants to go) but that's just the downside of being strong-willed. I hope she knows the Lord.
