Its a lot of pain because someone close might have passed from suicide or something...read the lyrics and you will know. It always makes me cry when I listen to the last part.

Funny enough, I've become a much bigger fan of this band since this video and I was JUST watching a podcast that Connie was on. Damn dude, she's been through it. This song is just one of many examples.

Love the editing and stylistic approach to the video. Nailed it dog. KZbin is so hard to deal with and I feel like you met the happy medium of showing as much as you could, as well as you could. Solid. Love northlane. Listen to more 👌🏻

Much love to 104.9 the funky monkey! I lived in the Kennore/Bothell area un junior high and high school and listened to that station religiously and if not them sometimes 107.7 the end. Good times and a damn shame the funky monkey gone!

Yeah I think The End was the stand-in for all of us. Nobody did it like the Monkey, where you can get grunge, hard rock, metalcore, and freaking Outkast within an hour LOL

40yo, just getting starting to like the videos I've watched over the last years. I like to think i have listened to a lot of music in my time, and this is my second favorite album ever! AND YOU! Do an amazing job at translating that to us! Thank you! (subscribed and liked - sorry i didn't do it 2 years ago)

3 years late to the party, but I'd absolutely LOVE to tell the story of "From Windfall To Hell"(the name of the series these albums take place in), at least "The Awry Ascent"-"Heavy Is The Crown" in a short nutshell form, I will leave out itty bitty details. So pretty much this dude name Prill is a sailor/fisherman who returns home to his wife Prite from the help of an Albatross(I think this is some sort of symbolism for a guardian watching over Prill?). Prite tells Prill she is pregnant, Prill feels it's impossible now to quit being a fisherman, and he goes on a quest looking for Fothcrah(a MASSIVE sea beast, he wants to hunt her down for riches to share among his family since he wants his unborn child to have a luxurious life). Gets drunk, find an umber tower, gets the coordinates of Fothcrahs lair, he inevitably fails to capture Fothcrah, and this is where we get to HITC. Set 8 years later, Abalone(Prills daughter) is a constant reminder to Prill about his loss against Fothcrah, so he gambles to try and win big. He DOES end up winning by some luck and in his adrenaline, kills a man who also ended up being the brother of a Pirate named Reflaugh, who in return kidnaps Prills daughter(eye for an eye sort of thing). Prill sees this as a chance for redemption so he sets out to sea after 8 years to rescue his daughter, gets betrayed by a woman named Atah'xia and pushed off a cliff, gets gassed and prisoned by a man named Demetrius, hates his life, manages to break out of his cage, and finally finds Abalone. But, Prill is sadly met with Reflaugh who burns Prill alive. And that, is where the story ends because I don't remember 3G&M and Mudoo Ra. I got most of this from the wiki(for names specifically and certain events that aren't really clearly said). Hope you enjoyed my little rant about the story of something I personally really love!

Absolute BANGER of an album. I was in the same boat as you, I was worried after hearing the singles. But once Disappearing Act hit, it blew me awaaaaay. I think you put it perfectly: The singles are much better in context with the rest of the album. What a masterpiece, and I can't wait for part 3!

I can relate to this so much. I can wholeheartedly relate with you're thought process and everything you're dealing and thinking. The disillusionment of this platform in vtubing can really get to you and so happy you've come into a good place on what you want to do and where you want to go. A wonderful inspiration. Thank you. I've struggled with this as well.

So with some of your comments on Afterman (as I am typing this I have not gotten to your wrap up) and how this holds up against it and Number City (pt 2 lol); do you read any of the graphic novels?
@SeiDefinition9 ай бұрын
I own the three that make up the most recent run (just got Good Apollo the other week from a twitch supporter actually), I don't have any of the media related to YOTBR or Afterman though, I just know a rough outline of what happens.

At about 3:20.. that eyebrow raise when she said “I wanna be your bit*h” 😂 and then the lowering of the glasses 😂 THAT reaction was hilarious and brought me back into the video right when I was about to click off of it… ik this is 3 yrs old but u got my like bc of that part 😂🔥💯

Solid band. Seeing bits of Finger Eleven in production and drum sound. It's refreshing for an oldhead rocker like me to see bands like this and Quannnic getting popular again.
