Have you thought about putting the money into a High Yield Savings Account like Ally? I earn money from interest every month. It does take 3 days to process though, so you can't access it immediately. I believe the interest rate is 4% right now.

It wasn't even groceries for one week! I'm thinking 2 weeks. It was odds and ends and stuff we were out of. Normally I shop for a week out of time, sometimes I can go 2 weeks before having to go back. Just depends! Getting very expensive seems like every week!

Great breakdown! That is crazy with the water bill. My electric company is 4.99 to make a payment online and over the phone. I found out its free online or over the phone if i do like direct deposit. They also take the money out same day.

I wouldn’t worry about how transferring the balance and maxing the card out looks, you want to stop interest accruing and the small drop in credit score wil recover quick enough. It’s not like you need the credit score to be stable to apply for new credit lines like a mortgage so pay discover off and move loan 1 for sure

It’s up to you but since your hospital bill is interest free for another few years, I would pay off discover and pay down loan 1 to be less than your $8k maximum and then focus the hospital bill. Great job paying off debt you’re doing amazing!

Amazing progress! I agree with the others don't worry about the 0% interest medical bill pay the minimum you have 3 more years of 0% interest. Concentrate on Discover, then Loan #1.

Great update. You're doing really well. 28 percent is 10 months 🎉 I like ur plan going forward the rest of the year. If u don't get discover paid off before March ull be mad at urself. I know the hospital bill annoys u but at least it's interest free and ull still pay it off early.
