I am so glad that you finally got the Pocket 3. I have absolutly loved using it myself. It's the camera I always go for. I even use it as a webcam now. I am sick of the one on my laptop and even the face tracking works.

I'd be interested in seeing how a video editor takes raw content and transforms that into a cohesive story along with all the creativity that goes into enhancing the content to make it entertaining. I've really enjoyed your work here and on Paul's Hardware.

Sounds great yes. You would need to compress or level the audio in post to boost her since she is much further away. Much better than built in mic! Seems like a cardioid pattern so it is rejecting the side and rear pretty darn well.

I add no audio filters to leave the audio as RAW as possible. I only adjusted the audio levels, so there is room to improve the audio quality overall. I recommend this mic!

Similar clarity. I think you knocked it a bit low in the car but it removes a lot of the bottom end boom (unless that was post process!?). Nicely directional, decent ambience but seems to handle it well with clarity too - the loud music was compressed comfortably. I wouldn't be afraid of a little gain to help out unless it was peaking. All in all pretty nice. At the end of the day post processing is a normal thing isn't it.. you're lucky to get something perfect out of the box :) Is the screen peak meter accurate enough? Seems like it'll be fab for personal commentary with the tech shows. I could almost smell the cookies, and the hand painted pixel art style was ironic..

I have just seen it and I didn't enjoy it.... I wanted to enjoy it but it was just missing something....
