I get dents all along my cheek when I smile after a “deep plane facelift “. These dents follow exactly the course of the zygomatic ligament and masseteric ligament. Additionally, I have buccal fat prolapse. My buccal fat dropped to my jowl area. Is it possible my ligaments were never released?

Currently, the price of the an ultrasonic rhinoplasty is not more than a traditional nose Jobe. The price of the nasal surgery is based on how much work is required, and not on what technique is used.

Hello @debbieg8260. Ultrasonic rhinoplasty CAN be used for revision rhinoplasty. Think about ultrasonic rhinoplasty as tool or a technique. How long ago the primary surgery was is also not a prohibitive factor for ultrasonic rhinoplasty.. We get many leads for patients requesting ultrasonic rhinoplasty. There are certain advantages in ultrasonic rhinoplasty, but also some disadvantages. Though we do not charge more for ultrasonic rhinoplasty, the case might take longer and therefore the patient might incur an increased anesthesia/facility fee. Best thing you can do....Get a consult. We can determine how much work is necessary and whether ultrasonic rhinoplasty is something that we should use in your case! Hope this helps!

Should not happen. I cannot address other surgeon's work. If the adequate protocols are undertaken, the fat grafts should be permanent, though aging and loss of volume will continue

Thank you Doc. for this informative video! I'm sorry if I'm using wrong terms. Are alive/active Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) included in the fat being injected in the face? In other words, will person getting fat grafting benefit from the rejuvenation impact of MSCs as well?

If you got a fat transfer to your cheeks but it left a irregularity in your cheek that makes it appear like it’s bulging out a bit and you want it removed how do you remove it or do you even recommend removing it or would removing it make more issues

removing likely leaves greater issues. May try a dilute steroid injection.

What a great video! Thankyou I'm in London, UK and I've just had a deep plane lower face and neck lift, temporal brow lift and facial fat transfer. I had so much volume loss, my surgeon needed to transfer 42mls fat which I think is quite a lot?! . I am only 2 weeks out from the procedure so there is still some residual bruising and quite a lot of swelling but my scars are healing very well and so far I am pleased with the results. Your video was so informative. It is very generous of you to share your knowledge like this. Wish I lived near you!

I'm eleven days post op from facelift, necklift with removal of the Turkey waddle. My surgery was four hours under local. I took a valium before surgery and it was easy. The hard part started that evening when the local wore off. I had a lot of pain. I thought facelift wasnt painful. I have had a lot of swelling and bruising. Going in daily to have old blood aspirated from one area in neck. The healing is difficult but surgery was a breeze.

It is a tome for osteotome, and chondrotome. It can cut bone and cartilage. However, It can drill bone, and can rasp bone and cartilage very precisely with little to no bleeding.

I had a fat transfer before one and half month i see much improvement in my acne scars but the the bad effect is this i lost my face shape its looks totally different.i m much worried and feel shy to go of i use ice and heat pad for blanching the fat I don't know it will adjust with the passing of time or not.i have a question will I get back my face shape or i need to go farther procedure?

Very interesting. Considering this for my 50th birthday 😇 Some questions I have.. where you harvest the fat.. abdominal area or thighs.. how big and visible are the scars afterwards? Then what happens if I do not like the look of the extra fat in my face.. is there any way to remove it or dissolve it? I am asking that because when I was in my 20ies I had this really full puppy fat face and I was so happy when that went away during my Thirties.. I want to restore some volume especially in the temples etc but I do not want to look again like I did back then. And last question: as I am a very active slim and fit person.. wouldn´t the grafted fat disappear again when your overall body fat is very low? Or it still stays? Thank you so much!

I had it done 4 days ago by an experienced nd very nice doc… the post condition is painful I m getting anxiety tht wen this swelling nd bruises will vanish.. nd what would my face look like after complete recovery.. I get so panic all the time 😩

It’s a 34 years old early for a face lifting.??My face been destroyed after Morpheus 8 I lost huge amount of fat from my face after just 1 session of Morpheus 8 . My face looking very saggy dropped and big hollows under eye and zigomatic bones . Dear Doctor, thank you so much for your great and helpful advice. I have severe nasal valve collaps and the doc wants to use ear cartilage. However after watching some surgery videos, knowing how severe my nose is collapsing, i strongly feel that ear cartilage won't be strong enough. What type of cartilage would you recommend for severe cases of nasal valve collapse? What is meant by the warping of rib cartilage? Thank you so much in advance! It's so hard to make a decision and every doctor tells me something else

Warping means the following....Rib cartilage has a natural curve. We want the nose to be straight. The natural curve of rib has a tendency for grafts made of rib to take on a slight curve over time unless certain procedures to counteract this are followed. #2 I look at cartilage grafting in 2 categories: structural and space occupying for contour. Ear is great for contour but cannot withstand the forces necessary for structural. If you are here in the USA, we would be happy to give you a consultation with a game plan. We see tons of out of town patients and can see if you would be a good candidate for revision surgery. Good luck.

Now I know what type of advice I need from German doctors. May I ask you one more question. Do Rib cartilage alar batten grafts inside the nose warp in the inner or in the outer Directon? So, are the nostrils gonna get wider or smaller over time?

@@helunanova It is hard to make a generalization regarding all alar batten grafts. In general, I FEEL that alar batten grafts make the nostrils appear wider and thicker. I do not use them frequently. However, in a few instances they may be necessary.

The number of ML is completely variable depending on: 1. The amt of volume loss 2. The skin thickness 3. The desired amt of rejuvenation (e.g. are we doing lips also) All of that being said I normally end up at about 20 cc for a full face
