just because it was the 90's doesn't make it grunge..this classic is outer-dimentional rock...no boxes please...😊...thanks so much for this Dan, maybe this masterpiece can catch on this time

Is a lie just the truth Uncovered and relinquished A passion for all young fools Is a lie more than truth A question left unanswered To feed the failure of our choices And in my hand our blood recovered And for our faith we're undeserved And in my hand our blood recovered And in your faith completely Do we wait all this time And follow blindly hating Killing all that we survey Must we hate all this time And let our anger lead us Lead us to our bitter end And in my hand our blood recovered And for our faith we're undeserved And in my hand our blood recovered And in your faith completely [Background: (turn the lights out when you leave)] You're wasting our time You're wasting our time When everything's said and done We're dead and buried We're dead and buried We're dead and buried We're dead and buried We're dead and buried And will this never end I'm tired of all this walking And if this never ends I'll walk until my feet are bleeding Oh until my feet are bleeding Oh until my feet are bleeding Oh until my feet are bleeding Oh until my feet are

for me this is the definition of post-grunge, and it shouldn't be such a bad word.

I just wanted everyone to know that there are some days when I'm cutting grass and and big pile of dog crap flys in my face eyes and mouth at an extreme rate of speed and velocity as it's 98 degrees in central Alabama heat and I wanna give up and say fuck everything just snap I can literally throw this album on and listen to it thru. And my entire day is fixed. I go home a better husband a better friend so much more in tune with my self and zen. Failure really captures something beyond rare and special in music and melody here they show probably the best examples of transition of song and a ebb and flow that's like a lucid river of northern lights on a warm summer night peace love and hopes to a good future friends. 🎉❤

I was at the Aenima Tool tour Atlanta International Ballroom 1996. I've been to many concerts including Rush and Metallica. None of them made my pant legs shake with the music except Tool. Anyways, at one point during the show Maynard suggested we should try out this band that goes by the name FAILURE. I had one objective after the concert. I found this CD and it is still one of my top 10 complete albums. I'm 50 now and yes I still listen to my 90's rock alternative metal and whatever else music.

To think, i walked into a record store within the first few days this album was released....not knowing who Failure was. At one of the "new release" listening stations, I saw an album cover that caught my eye....looked intriguing. I picked up the headphones and never looked back. During their big reunion tour, I got to hang out with the Ken, Kelli, and Greg.....and got them to sign that original release CD I had bought way back in 1996. Such cool, down-to-earth guys. I never stopped smiling the whole time.
