WHAT A TALENT I was lucky enough to be at this concert was the first time seeing him sing . Without doubt the best male vocalist ever. Got to see him a second time live lift in awe . I am 60 now and still listening to him I won’t see a better male sing in my lifetime and that’s a fact. RESPECT to you Luther thanks for some two of the greatest performances ever. Luther and Whitney Houston the greatest male and female performers of all time period 💕👌🏼

To be honest, when we did our Eastern Category Battles in NY where Tony won and qualified for the Finals, we really thought he had a realistic shot against Babs. Tony let that needle skip get to him and it showed throughout his performance. Still a dope battle though. BUT Babu vs. Roli Rho in the Beat Juggling Finals that same night, is till this day one of the best battles of all time.

Saw this same show in Atlanta in 1986 or 87. We had seats on the 5th row. First time I had seen the lead singer with his back to his BACKground Singers. The ELEGANT Background singers.

The way he looked from, 0:30, to, 0:40, could have him pass for the BROTHER OF WALTER PAYTON, in his last couple of years with the "Bears." A thicker mustache on Luther would have been the icing on that cake.
