@wulfbooy I don't remember it's exact name, but it's based off of a game called dead cells that has banger cinematic trailers, we all thought the show would be the same, but as you can see it's kinda bad.

@HenryThornton-ji5mz it’s supposed to be a different story dude, it’s not a 1 to 1 copy of the trailers, and they don’t have the budget for the animated trailers. The animation style they chose is simplistic and charming, dead cells immortalis (the shows name) is basically an au/spinoff. While I do agree the teaser shouldn’t have misled us with the idea that it would be a retelling of the game, at least we don’t have a similar story but with different elements that make it a unique story based off the same idea. It’s pretty clear though that what you’re upset at is the fact that the show is not a direct retelling, and it’s not trying to be so 🤷‍♀️

@HenryThornton-ji5mzI mean they did a really good job with the tight budget they were working with. They probably didn’t have time to add in the servants, and who knows they might come back in season 2 to avenge the queen or something
