Would it have made any difference if Scheider had told Olivier's character that his agency wanted Schell safely out of the country with his diamonds, so he could continue to be useful to them? Whether this was true or not, should Doc have played his cards closer to his chest? Schell seems to still be interested in some re-assurance, so he hasn't already decided to murder Doc when they meet.

Szell was paranoid about being robbed of his diamonds. He was convinced Doc would be the one to rob and kill him. Doc underestimated the old snake ... and was gutted like a fish.

This documentary by Howard Goodall is available here on KZbin at its full length, but at a much lower quality than this clip that you have. Is there any chance you can upload the whole thing at this quality? It would be great to show this to students, whether they be music students or history students. Right now, the full (lower-quality) version is good to have, but the quality of this clip is so much nicer -- it would be a benefit to mankind to have the entire Goodall documentary available at this nice quality.
