I worked at McDonalds, after Covid 19. Before I was a Nurse, and I worked my way up to assistant general manager, and was left the whole time I was pregnant alone to run the store. We had no issues, just do not ladies try to argue with any crazy employees under your super vision, because it got heated and the wrong decision was made for work, but I was fine and so was my baby. Stay quiet so you can focus, and listen to your employees, not your managers, and each other! I am a student again now, once I took sometime to hurt and get better. I feel better, and I will be a success!

Like am i supposed to make drinks and take orders at the same time? I have adhd and idk how to do both at the same time yet. People training me are rude af like bro you act like you are making 100$ hour doesn't take much effort to be kind. I do WAY better when co workers are kind and patient. When they talk to me like im dumb i get anxious and my performance declines. been working at wendys 4 days now my first fast food job.

Finally someome who addresses this. I just joined Computer Science because I really love this field but I really feel the college is stealing my time. My day starts from 6:30 in the morning till 5pm which is almost 11hrs of my day just gone like that. And guess what, I could have spent 2-3 hours only just to understand what was taught in those 11hrs. now I am left with like 3 hours after college to study AGAIN and work on what I really love while being tired. Now I am beginning to think of dropping out.

Hey thanks for the comment! In the beginning I probably was just watching KZbin videos on different topics. Also, Investopedia is great for making complex topics very simple. The book Random Walk Around Wall St. was one of my very first finance books I read. But yeah KZbin probably taught me the most in the beginning.

I use the same approach. But mine is more minimalistic. I use Todoist for dumping tasks. Every day I spend like 5m to set due dates for tomorrow. Then, every day I just open "Today" tasks in Todoist and do them when I have free time (I don't need a calendar for it, I know when I am free without it). I use Obsidian to dump what I've learned. I also plan long term goals/skills there. I use a calendar just as a reminder. I set appointments and some routine tasks there (like training). P.S.: a good (maybe even better) alternative for Todoist is Workflowy. Also, Obsidian could be used for it too. Then, it will be enough to have only two apps for the life tracking/organization.

Thank you for making this tutorial, Up until now my Notion task management was a mess, and before you made this tutorial, I never knew about the existence of "copy link to view". What I did prior to this video is duplicating the same database and arrange them within the same page.

@micahschultz2981 Жыл бұрын
Hey! Are you saying that you already have a task database? If you do, I would just follow the tutorial of copying it and creating a linked view till you have your different priority sections. It also might be easier to just create the template and then add those tasks into it. I'm not sure there would be a seemless way to integrate your existing database into my template. Let me know if that didn't answer your question.
@barryvideoyt Жыл бұрын
@@micahschultz2981 Yes, I do have an existing database. I thought that may have the been the answer. I'll be giving your suggestions shortly. Thanks again for the great video, Micah! I'm looking for more of these kinds of videos.

Thanks for this fresh content and not another faceless walkthrough. I like the idea of recapturing missed tasks. I’m creating a callout for overdue tasks to keep those in view. I also keep the done callout hide so not to distract from what I need to see. This callout helps with my 1-on-1 reviews and evaluations.

Interesting- thanks. What I find missing in most all Task Management systems (except the very expensive ones) is tying Tasks to People, Projects and to Organizations/Companies and being able to see the threads and quickly to see what History each of those segments has. For example, I could have Attorney Bob Smith as a Contact, working for Amalgamated Law- Bob's contact information is captured. Now Bob works on a few different projects for me, as does his colleague Sally. Same with Mike's Marketing and couple of folks on his team. I use the companies often, but want to see what they do overall, also on specific projects, and future ones I assign them to. Now there you have a powerful Project Task Managment system- for work and family life, all at one place.

Hey Micah Schultz! I checked out your videos, and it made me a bit sad to think that some people who could really benefit from your fantastic tips might be missing out right now. I noticed a small issue that might be preventing you from reaching a wider audience. It seems that your about section is empty, and there's no information about yourself. This could be keeping your viewers from connecting with you and sticking around for more. Another thing that could help is uploading videos more frequently. It's essential to keep your content flowing to attract new viewers. I understand we're all busy, but I would really appreciate it if you could respond to this message. Looking forward to hearing from you. P.S. I took the liberty of creating a KZbin video script for you. It has the potential to triple your audience! If you're interested, just reply with your contact information, and I'll be happy to share it with you.
