I mean no disrespect because this is one of my all time favorite TV scenes, but does anyone else find it odd Callie, Shepherd, and Owen go running to treat George *after* Grey tells them that’s who it is? Like, what, they were just gonna stand around in the hallway and chat when he was *just* a John Doe? 😅

It’s a dad issue

The three people working on Izzie (Yang, Bailey & Webber) are the three who gave her the most hell after what she did to Denny. Watching them try to save her even after the DNR gets me so emotional. They’re breaking the rules to save her. George is being worked on by everyone he respected & wanted to emulate. The parallels in those scenes alone make the elevator send off even more heartbreaking

By far the best Greys finales ever

All these years later, and I truly do love this finale. BUT in my head cannon THEY BOTH DIE. Heck that's what I thought originally happened, and I cried like a baby. So imagine my surprise when Season 6 rolls around and it turns out Izzie survived. Only to leave 4 episodes later. This death was such a waste for Izzie. They should've killed off Izzie & George. She was going to leave anyway! Plus it hits harder. They were best friends and then they both die at the same time in different parts of the hospital. It's beautiful.
