Love to hear gospel music.

Love these so much and I’ve been watching them since the terrible events of Friday. Amber was a good friend and it is one of my big regrets that I never got her to do Sam in person because that would’ve been epic! As sad as we all are, this gives us something to smile about and remember. I’ve often wondered by the way if Sam is still around.

This is yet another reason why I'm slowing down,bon my Southern Gospel Music intake. It's totally ludicrous, when we feel like we have to give praise to people, that took Worldly Funk Music, and mixed it with Gospel Music. This is totally pathetic!!!!!!!!!!

I began my journey of following the EASTER BROTHERS IN NOVEMBER OF 1977 BY ACCIDENT MY MOM AND DAD HAD BEEN TALKING ABOUT US GETTING INTO CHURCH SO THEY WERE LISTEN TO DIFFERENT CHURCH SERVICES ON THE RADIO WELL THAT SUNDAY NIGHT THEY WERE GOING TO LISTEN TO PREACHER EVANS THAT NIGHT BUT THEY WERE A LITTLE LATE TURNING THE RADIO AND PREACHER EVANS WAS PLEASE MAKE WELCOME THE EASTER BROTHERS WELL THEY STARTED TO TURN THE RADIO OFF AND THEY STARTED SINGING AND AT THE TIME I WAS ONLY 7 YEARS OLD BUT I REMEMBER FALLING IN LOVE WITH THE EASTER BROTHERS SONGS WELL PRIOR TO MY BABY SISTER LISA GALE FAUCETTE WAS 2 YEARS OLD AND ONE NIGHT AS MY MOM WAS LISA CAME INTO THE KITCHEN AND ASKED MY MOM WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WHEN I DIE MOM SAID BABY YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DIE WELL A FEW DAYS LATER SHE LOOKED UP AT MY MOM ARE YOU GOING TO MISS ME WHEN MOM ASKED WHY DO THINK THAT YOU ARE GOING TO DIE SHE SAID BECAUSE I AM THAT WENT ON FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS BUT ANYWAY ON SUNDAY WE WOULD RIDE TO CEMERTARY TO GRANDDADS GRAVE LISA WAS RUINING AROUND AND OUT OF THE CLEAR BLUE SKY LISA SAID I WILL BE COMING BACK OVER HERE TO STAY BEFORE LONG THAT NIGHT IS WHEN WE HEARD THE EASTER AND FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER SINGING WELL MY WHOLE FAMILY FELL IN LOVE WITH THERE MUSIC AND I REMEMBER AS IF IT WERE YESTERDAY HEARING JAMES EASTER GIVE HIS PERSONAL TESTIMONY HE WENT ON TO TELL HOW AT 16 YEARS OLD HE WAS SENT PRISON WITH MANY FELONY CHARGES AGAINST HIM AND HE WENT ON TO THEY SENT ME ABOUT AS FAR AS THEY COULD AWAY AND STILL KEPT HIM IN THE STATE OF NC HE WENT ON TO TELL HE SAID HIGHWAY 301 HER IN HALIFAX COUNTY NORTH CAROLINA HE SAID HE HELPED BUILD THAT AND HE WENT ON TO SAY THEY CALLED ME PEEWEE BACK THEN AND HE SAID ONE DAY THAT THE WARDEN CALLED ME IN TO THE OFFICE AND SAID PEEWEE YOU HAVE BEEN WITH US ALONG TIME BUT HE SAID PEEWEE I AM GOING TO LET YOU GO HOME TODAY AND HE SAID TEARS CAME TO HIS EYES AND HE I PULLED UP A CHAIR THAT WAS NEAR BY AND HE SAID I ASKED THE WARDEN IF HE WOULD GIVE ME THE NEWS 1 MORE TIME AND HE SAID I THOUGT ALL HOPE WAS GONE FOR HIM AND HE SAID I THOUGT I MANY MORE YEARS LEFT IN THAT OLD PRISON WELL HE TOLD ABOUT GETTING OUT AND GETTING MARRIED AND HE GOD BLESSED ME WITH A SON BUT THE LORD CALLED HIS SON HOME TO BE WITH HIM AND HE TOLD HOW HE GOT SAVED AND I CAN STILL REMEMBER IT LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY HOW HARD MY MOM AND DAD CRIED AND I REMEMBER SEEING MY DAD BITING HIS FINGER NAILS BUT JAMES WENT ON TO SAY YOU GOD BLESSED ME WITH ANOTHER CHILD AND ANOTHER CHILD AND ANOTHER CHILD WELL ON A COLD FALL EVENING ON NOVEMBER 16TH LISA WAS TAKEN TO HMH BAD OFF AND WAS ADMITTED INTO THE HOSPITAL WELL I CAN REMEMBER BEING IN THE KITCHEN WHEN MY MOM CALLED MY DAD AND SAID THAT LISA WAS ADMITTED INTO THE HOSPITAL AND I CAN REMEMBER WALKING INTO THE THE FRONT ROOM CRYING AND MY BROTHER ASK ME WHAT WAS WRONG WELL I TOLD HIM AND KEEP IN MIND AT THAT TIME I WAS ONLY 7 YEARS OLD BUT I TOLD MY BROTHER I SAID THAT THEY PUT LISA IN THE HOSPITAL AND WE WANT EVER SEE LISA ALIVE AGAIN WELL ON 1201 AM NOVEMBER THE 17TH LISA WAS CALLED HOME TO BE WITH THE LORD AND I REMEMBER WAKING ON THE BED WITH MY DAD AND THE FIRST THING I HEARD WAS WAS LISA HAD DIED WELL MY WELL ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON NOVEMBER 19TH 1 MONTH FROM LISA'S 3RD BIRTHDAY LISA WAS LAID TO REST WELL IN MARCH OF 1978 THE EASTER BROTHERS WERE BACK AND AND WE SAW THEM SING IN PERSON WE WHEN THE SERVICE WAS MOM INTRODUCED HERSELF TO JAMES AND HAD ASKED IF THE LETTER HA CAUGHT UP WITH THEM A HE SAID YES AND HAD CAUSED KKKKĶ

They still sound so good. I know watching so many singers as they get older it gets a little harder. But these guys never miss a beat

I really love the Easter Brothers.I sean them in concert alots of times.Russell Easter SR along with Russell Easter JR and other members of the Easter Family we did a Gospel Concert together at sea in 2006.
