i havent tested any mods for it, depending on how you add mods it might be able to work. sadly im a very vanilla person. i dont even mod my skyrim

oh geez, game runs so bad on coffincolors build. 7gb/11gb ram used. 80% cpu and getting 5 fps. Lowest settings

@@0xm3trix yeah at the menu i was able to get almost 30 fps but during the cutscene 10 to 17 fps. Then once i can control the character fps drops to 3-6 fps. Maybe its unoptimized or requires something. I was able to use dxvk

yeah it should be similar if you get the s23 ultra, that has 12gb, all the other versions have 8gb. Also the main thing you gotta worry about is the phones heat buildup. if you can use a magnetic cooler or a gamepad with a cooler. it should be alright. if the phone gets too hot, it might be hard to play using touchscreen.

@@ChewMunchy I have the standard S23, not the Ultra version. Would you say the 4gb ram loss is a big difference? If so, what exactly does it impact, aside from making it much more difficult to run the game.

@@intergalactictitanium it might crash winlator if a game requires too much, i've had some issues where the android ui would act up and device would get real slow. Im not sure how much performance is affected with 8gb. you'd have to figure that out with some testing! >:D . Next issue is storage, depending how much you have left on your device, high end games range from 25gb-130gb the most.

@@ChewMunchy Alright great, I'll eventually test it out after I'm done testing skyrim SE/AE first, Initially when I was trying to run it before around a month ago I couldn't get past the menu even after a whole day of trying to troubleshoot. But perhaps some issues might've been fixed in the newer winlator 8 forks, we'll see.

@@cb52959 make a shortcut of mccwin shipping and back out to winlator menu. Go to shortcut tab and go to properties of mmcwinship. Go to advanced and in command line type -windowed.

@@ChewMunchy in advanced for the mccwin shortcut, I see a space for typing in System - Exec Arguments, is this what you mean? I’ve done that and it’s the same result. I get a black screen with the halo curser, then crash. I’ve verified things run fine on a PC so I’m figuring it’s not corrupt. Maybe there are other pre-reqs of things needing installed? .NET, directx? Not sure what else could be different between our configs.

@@Taariq570 the latest version, if you own the steam game you can transfer the game folder and run it off the cyberpunk.exe without using steam. I have to double check what number later.

yeah depending how much ram comes with it, and if it gives you enough storage to play a good amount of games, cause most of these semi new games or AAA are like 60-120GB storage. If your going to upgrade your phone for main uses like calls and what not and if you can get it on sale or a good deal. Sure, gaming on the side is good. IF you can wait, i would suggest waiting. I heard next year samsung gonna release Snapdragon 4 with adreno 830 or something. Cant wait to see the performance and winlator updates by then.

my device is odin 2 mini pro, it has Snapdragon 8gen2 with Adreno 740 and 12GB ram if you need something to compare with the device you have or might be getting.

Every winlator i have made so far is using the Odin 2 mini.

yeah, best thing to do is just have battery saver on, Don't set the odin to "performance mode" and set the fan to "sport". yeah temps im always getting are 70-85c. Though we are using apps to run PC games so yeaah, everything is not optimized. if you are scared losing life on the device, i suggest not running high games or using winlator at all.

no it needs steam files and it has to connect to steam servers, which for now its not possible. although im using the game from my steam folder. there is a seperate ".exe' files to play offline /w bots.

idk, winlator might not have certain files that windows has to run hamachi properly. unless you are talking about just using regular computers, then maybe its possible

I own the game on steam but the latest version of the game has drm and no way to crack it so I can't use my own sadly.

I do know that older versions of the game do not have drm tho so those versions should work.

@@sampletxtVideos currently pc version of mgsv isnt playable at all on winlator because of denuvo, ground zero is playable. im using the playstation 3 emulator on winlator but the performance is not good atm. maybe in future winlator/rpcs3 updates it will be better

@@Richtofen not possible yet as far as i know. Some steam games have been giving issues. some dont even boot. You can connect to steam and get online to download games but for some reason cant play online in games. I think it has to do with the winlator for now. If someone got it working i'd like to know as well. Ive been reading about this program called goldberg steam. Can possibly help play online but as lan. Not really sure, i havent tested.

@@Richtofen yeah, ive tested a few steam games and some can start. Yes, depending on the winlator you can make home shortcuts. Some even have a pip feature. The bruno and the people making the custom builds are slowly progessing winlator. Its gonna take some patience to be able to do everything. Also really depends on the device too
