I’m not afraid but I fear the side effects and I always get dizziness when I take a new medication or supplement even if dizziness isn’t listed as a side effect. Could that be from anxiety induced dizziness?

I appreciate that your messages come from the heart and it makes them all the more helpful. Some things my new mate is telling me: Why do you care? It’s no big deal mate. You know it’s going to be fine Please move on to productive and positive thoughts. This is getting old. Let’s enjoy the moment.

Thank you so much for making these videos. I am an anaesthesiologist and psychologist from Germany and unfortunately, we are not exempt from this disease. I don‘t know what came first for me. I‘ve had anxiety and/or depression for as long as I can remember. Sometimes the depression prevails, sometimes it‘s the anxiety. Take care :).

That makes so much sense hearing it described as a tic. Good reminder here to practice self compassion and embrace what might happen as this takes the power out of it ❤

This is a real wake up call. It’s hard when you don’t really know a different way than being hyper responsible and feel negligent for not doing what you thought was the right thing. On the other hand, I can only imagine the freedom it would give me to let so many of these things go. Thank you. 🙏❤️

Me 🖐️ I will feel my blood flowing faster in my body, my chest aching, irritability, but to me that is just my anxiety. I have learned to manage it by breathing and finding ways to calm my brain and body down.

How about us over achievers and perfectionist, that we will not let our anxiety get us down, how do we tell our bodies to calm down?

It's important to feel the feelings, to sit with them. The workbook called 30 Days to Stop Obsessing by Harper Daniels helped me.

This is worded horribly. Your emotions might not root from truth but that in no way means that you do not in FACT FEEL THE EMOTION.

I have a fear of medicine in general, mostly from health anxiety. I have this fear that I'll take it and either have a bad adverse reaction or go into anaphylaxis, although I've never been allergic to anything but I have had a few bad adverse reactions that scared me away from all medicine and it doesn't help that I look up these medications and see crazy things that have happened to people. The slow exposure I'll try because I need to take antibiotics but I'm down right refusing. I want to get over this catastrophic thinking involved around medicine.

I also have systemic lupus, sjogrens, rheumatoid arthritis and refuse to take steroids as well but to be fair steroids make me spaz out , night sweats, nightmares, shakes, pvcs, tachycardia, and manic. So I actually don't see any other option there. But I do know I need to take at least antibiotics when I need them. Wish I could afford a psychiatrist 😢 so it's on me alone to do this. But videos like this help in overcoming things by myself.

Instead of ritualising say may or may nots. Lifting enough mental weight with this technique they can hear the ocd and start to disengage and not engage with it at all. Very helpful.

I think mobile phones in general cause alot of anxiety and depression. The last couple of weeks I've switched my phone off for long periods every day which seems to be helping me. KZbin is very addictive and can cause anxiety I think which is why I'm trying to use it less. Looking forward to your next video ❤
