I've always thought, his drums are set up in front of God's throne & God smiles as he plays for him. RIP GOAT We will love forever & always <3

He had such groove & swing he implemented into his solos so easy to listen to like a Hemi engine syncopated but unpredictable

The Best pure rock drummer talent.. incorporated some Buddy Rich in his playing.. Genius "Beast" drummer. doesn't miss a beat when he loses his right drumstick. gets another and keeps killing it.

Just think that kids back in the early 1970's thought that Peter Criss of the rock band KISS was a lot better than John Bonham and yet there is a lot of differences between these two men and its Bonham that gets the edge and nod from those who know him best.

Freaking impossible. Long live the work of John Henry Bonham! Nobody will ever drum like this again.

Bonzo was the best and likely will never be matched. I often think of the old Buddy Rich Solos, which were flashy but Rich was never this good ever. Nobody is this good. I’ve been a drummer since high school and I’m 70 and Stijl drumming. I’ve listened to them All. I can copy some of Bonhams beats but this is a mad genius playing through his heart and soul and guts and more.

I heard him get interviewed on my local hometown radio station WCRS 1450 AM in Greenwood SC and he did the "Purdie Shuffle" live on the radio. He's gonna be performing at the SC Festival of Discovery BBQ Festival and Blues Cruise this weekend in Greenwood SC.

"Nothing is EVER precise, it's all about allowing your fingers to do the walkin'" that straight up became a part of me the SECOND I heard it. It's a great piece of advice/philosophy applicable to all aspects of art and life. That and also the dude just SLAMMING the most precise and perfect piece of drumming afterwards *cheff kiss*. This man is a treasure of humanity

One of the greatest however Buddy Rich was a complete beast. Oh and by the way do your homework and you'll find out John Bonham NEVER played under the influence because he was afraid of what the critics would say. Mad respect!!
