Great video Mark, looking to do the same walk & camp myself very soon.

Thank you buddy ❤️ Hands down one of my favourite places, love Bowfell, did it again the other month but took the Mrs and camped in the same spot. Had perfect conditions both times which makes a big difference. Hope you get the same pal 👍

I can appreciate the scepticism then the surprise with the taste test. I'm looking for a filter at the moment and this one is doing very well in terms of its claimed effectiveness. Random water, even if filtered by one of these, just feels so very risky!
@markjamesgreen53092 жыл бұрын
I agree, but have used this several times now and I'm still here and well. I must say though my partner has the sawyer filter which is a lot more compact, cheaper and just as good. You would always try and use running stream water, but I summit camp so tend to use still tarns.

Just bought one for myself then I had a friend that is selling one on Facebook, so I've got 2 now plus the other came with a spare filter, I got mine for £65 because I did a review on some scales and got a £10 voucher ... the other I'm buying has a spare filter, in which I was going to buy , got that kit for £60 so seeing I was going to buy a filter.. in reality the bottle with its own filter and only used in July 10 times last year has only cost me £35 love a bargain 😉🤟

Excellent video, thoroughly enjoyed it!!!! I Hoping to do Helvellyn in April 2021.
@markjamesgreen53093 жыл бұрын
Hi there and thank you. This was my first time and I must say it was beautiful, but I owe most of that to the conditions. I'm currently on a mission to get round as many Wainwright's as possible this year (open to suggestions if you know good ones) but can't wait to get back to Helvellyn to see what's like without the snow. I've noticed during my walks that the snowy conditions do make for better footage, just adds a whole new element and pretty much every picture is breathtaking. Good luck on your trip out in April and stay safe, no doubt I will be in the area so say "Hi" if you see a red buffoon tripping over his camera gear or nearly amputating his fingers trying to land his drone, that will be me!

Great video! Have you encountered any problems with the law in 2021 on any of these hikes?
@markjamesgreen53093 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard and thank you. We have encountered no issues and have seen many people on the hills. If your lucky enough to have this in your doorstep then you fall within the current guidelines. Stay safe and respect others and you can't go wrong.
