Correction: God the Father raised Jesus from the dead, as Scripture clearly states. Jesus truly died, so it is nonsense to claim that "He raised Himself from the dead".... In John 2:19 Jesus was speaking in the prophetic first person FOR God, His Father, as He was ALWAYS the SOURCE of the Son Of God's every word and the power for every work.

Scripture is clear that 1) Jesus died 2) God raised HIm from the dead ( Romans 10: 9 ) 3) Jn 10:18 look at the Greek..Jesus has authority from God, His Father to Take/Receive His Life......apparently....you dont' believe that Jesus really died.....that is astounding.

@@jcgoodman65 You fail to understand that it was a work of the Triune God who raised him from the dead. Jesus can have authority to take up his life again and obey this charge from the Father to lay down his life for the sheep. Nothing in that disrupts the Triune work of God in the death and resurrection of the Messiah. Also, your last comment is a non sequitur. The real problem here is you do not believe the true God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) because you do not believe the clear teachings of the Scriptures.

The real problem here is that you don't believe Jesus, who identifies His Father as the ONLY TRUE GOD John 17:3 and you don't believe that He actually died...you are actually spouting nonsense by claiming that He raised Himself up.....in direct contrast to CLEAR SCRIPTURE.

Oh wow I didn't know I was still subscribe to this. I'm going to have to unsubscribe to this. I am happy going to Central Bible Church at Galena and Elmwood on the Westside. And I was able to make up with the people that I had problems with from Oasis because Oasis doesn't seem to be conducive to being able to make up with people. So I am good now with those people. Before I leave you I just have one question. Where at in the Bible does it say that a husband and wife separates for 30 days. Apparently in Mary Showers Bible it says that. And one more thing, where at in the Bible does it say that your roommate can cuss you out and then six months later becomes a deacon of the church. I pray for that church but I think according to what I've been hearing from my friends it's going to fall apart
