Well done.. At last a straight forward and authentic performance. He would have appreciated that.

It's actually very good - though hard to make the switch from soprano. Very good indeed though.

I sang this very funny song years ago and felt kind of self conscious singing it as a man. Things have opened up considerably and now I can sing with gay pride! Nice job! Very theatrical!

An exceptional rendition of this gentle yet powerful song, Brandon. It's quite unusual to hear it sung in a male voice, but you have captured the sentiment perfectly, and with a very rich and warm voice. Excellent accompaniment from James also. Thank you for posting. Continued success to you! Paul

Actually listen to the original cast album, Preston is a great presenter, nice phrasing, but he's not up to the singing!

I wanted to let you know about a free opportunity with the Living Music Resource housed at the University of Mississippi. On May 2nd we are live streaming an interactive interview with William Bolcom and Joan Morris. During the live stream William Bolcom and Joan Morris will give feedback to THREE lucky selected singers. Simply submit a video recording of yourself (via KZbin) to LMR by midnight (CST) Sunday, April 27th using the online submission form ("I want feedback from Bolcom and Morris") found on our homepage (www.livingmusicresource.com). The best part is that this opportunity is FREE! A recording from the past year is preferable and any piece by Bolcom is acceptable (opera, cabaret, song, etc.). The selected singers will be notified prior to the May 2nd live stream. Please contact LMR with any questions at [email protected].
