6 foot bed and extended cab is a dealbreaker for me. I despise the crew cab look of midsize pick up trucks. It’s all doors and ridiculous. They’ve lost their way to a pick up truck.

Writing from NS Canada. There is one that parks never my wife Grandma’s home. I mow said Grandma’s lawn for her. When the truck in question is started it sounds so mad. Really sounds like something is broken. Would not want one of these based on that. But when compared to the competition I guess only safe bet left if the Nissan. How times have changed.

People want the Maverick because you can't really get small trucks anymore. A larger cab and longer bed would put it out of scope for those looking for a small truck and there wouldn't really be any alternative in the truck market.

@@brodieobrien-pickering2202 I agree, less emphasis on towing, and focus on compact pickup. Though, crew cab is more popular because it is a people carrier, and can be secured cargo storage vs the bed. If a manufacture had to make one truck, it would be a crew cab, and Iʻd at least hope for a mid-gate for people who need longer beds.
