Could you possibly drive down Atlas road and pass this yellow house I grew up in it and I've been so heartbroken since my family saw that house and I'm now living in New Hampshire, the house is 209 Atlas road Young's Ville Louisiana 🥺

I was a film cameraman and videographer for 35 years in New Orleans. I would have been embarrassed to have shown a video as terrible as this one. It looks like it was shot from a phone camera. I shot many a hand-held scene over the years and would have been canned if I turned in work like that. I now live in Opelousas and this is not how I would depict this lovely town.

Amazing

Opelousas is really a treasure trove. History, culture, architecture, and great people characterize such a unique city. However, the single key ingredient needed in Opelousas is "investment".

It’s a shame that the Gulf Shores drive doesn’t have the buried wires alongside the road as does Orange Beach. It looks so much nicer without all those telephone lines etc.! Maybe they’ll bury them eventually.

We stayed in this area every winter (Jan thru Mar) from 2000 to 2015. Miss the drive from Orange Beach to DeSoto's.

I miss the old days when the condos were smaller,the water clearer and the hwy 59 brideg from Foley was a draw bridge.
