Seen the thumbnail & said that looks like barbers. I go there a lot with Alscca doing autocross. Your car seems to accelerate very quickly & somebody did a nice job of track design using every inch of it. I enjoy the facility very much. Nice run.

Was the grip less than you expected and you overshot?

@@euroe12 the grip was lower than I expected all day, and the line was narrow- dirty offline. But I think I was pretty calibrated to the surface by this time, so I think the main issue was that I wasn’t reading that corner the right way. Probably an issue with my visuals- not looking far enough ahead there for some reason. I think I should have touched the brakes here and bled more speed, stayed tighter, and for some reason I didn’t. I don’t know.

Wow wicked fast. The neatest thing i noticed in this vid was watching the roll bar where its cut off near the dash, if you look close you can see the chassis flexing a bit as it loads throught corners. Pretty neat to actually see it. Could you i agine a similar cinario in a foxbody,lol

Hey Dave, I'm one of the guys from OVR with a '16 SS. Have you ever experienced "ice mode" with your '22? I've heard that they supposedly fixed (or at least reduced) it in '19, but I'm not sure how true it is.

@@Millertime555 I have, but only once or twice and only when I messed up big time. I have heard the electronics were improved with the ‘19+ and I also previously had a 2020 6-sp car that didn’t have issues (this white one is a ‘22 10A). The ice mode happens when you go to brakes suddenly when the car still has slip angle and/or is potentially still accelerating. It doesn’t like that overlap. I’ve had it in the rain before when I spun up the rears aggressively (like prob 20 mph higher than the actual speed) then went to the brakes and the rears hadn’t stopped spinning yet even though I had lifted. Hopefully knowing things like this trigger it is a help

It was a longer than normal camera mount that had some extra flex to it. It wasn’t a rougher surface than the places I normally run the car. And yes, it has mag ride!
