@@breaking_bear I stay away from certain words, but we're saying the same thing.

@@AuthenticallyJTiktok Thanks for the reply. By dictionary definition, they are separate words with completely separate meanings. If you argue the universe is God, you worship through actions, the created, and not the Creator. And no I do not subscribe to the notion that God is in everything. That is a satanic and talmudic inversion of twisted logic. It suits a new age religious model.
@AuthenticallyJTiktok5 сағат бұрын
@breaking_bear sorry, we r all "god", we make up the universe. If there was a "creator" he/she/it wouldn't care if u worshipped him or not... it/he/she would just want u to love, live, and just be. So, we r all part of that regardless of ur opinion or outlook. I just don't call it god.

That's one spectacular view. It's worth losing all the so-called comforts to be able to look at over that beautiful view.

I'm living in the woods on the old county farm as they called it, surreptitiously 🤫 I lost my house in a tax auction in March, so I've had to think outside the box a lot lately. I'm building a very small cobb hobbit house....a cobbit house, if you will. Your videos are giving me some great ideas and I appreciate what you're doing because it's hard work I know this for real. Keep it up!

If you don't like "small talk", try "big talk". Conversion isn't for reporting the irrelevant things you did that week, it's for sharing opinions and perspectives and forging "beliefs" and identity in the flames of public discourse. Also, to establish if others share the same values and goals as you, and which way your paths may be convergent. And focus less on what value others are you you, as what you are to them. If you'd like to live a life where you can depend on others, you must first strive to be dependable. It's called vulnerability.

Never underestimate the power and knowledge of a good bs conversation. Skipping bs, because you think it's unnecessary and useless is dangerous when meeting strangers for the first time.

Insane perspective. How much damage can they do? I'll happily anyone to burn me once just to know whether they are worth the effort in the future. Don't be so fragile as to not allow others close. Life goes on. And it's easier in a community.

Outstanding! If you are going to use hay instead of pine shavings for animal bedding, you absolutely have to sprinkle Diatomaceous Earth under it and over it! Hay will attract mites. I killed 3 chickens before I figured that out! Always always always use Diatomaceous earth!

I hear what you're saying; I loath everything arbitrary about the world. But wouldn't your project benefit from the advice and ongoing support of some kind of lawyer or financial consultant that can examine your goals over the next 5 years, and help you plan the best approach to suffer minor complications? ... also, whatever community your in, whoever your neighbors are, and their personal "quirks", the loan law, the local govt; these are the ppl who will CONTINUE to share your journey with you, for good or bad, so best to get along.

Oregon has different camping regulations depending on the type of land and who manages it: Public land Dispersed camping is usually allowed for up to 14 days within a 28-day period, but some offices may have different rules. After 14 days, you must move at least 25 air miles away from the previous site and can't leave any personal property behind. State parks You can stay in a regular campsite, yurt, or cabin for up to 14 consecutive nights within a 17-night period. You can return after spending at least three nights outside the park, and some recommend staying at another state park campground. Hiker/biker sites have a maximum stay of three consecutive days within a seven-day period. (Camping fee for most state parks) State forest land You can't camp for more than 14 days within a 35-day period, or for more than 42 days in a year. You also can't camp within 25 feet of a body of water's high water mark, or in areas posted as closed to camping. You can't leave personal property unattended for more than 48 hours. Boondocking Boondocking laws vary depending on who manages the campsite, such as the state government, Bureau of Land Management, Forest Service, or the Army Corps of Engineers. Some areas allow stays of a few days, while others allow a couple of weeks. Klamath County, Oregon's Land Development Code allows camping on private property for up to 21 days within a six-month period, and no permit is required for the first seven days. However, there are some exceptions, such as if you're staying on your property in an RV while building a dwelling. In this case, you can apply for a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) for a $450 application fee, with a $150 annual renewal fee. The TUP can be extended as long as the building permit is active. As you stated in your TikTok Video recently, you do not own the property you have been living on. Therefore, unless the person you are making payments to (the owner) gave you permission to pull permits from the county and submitted the documents, you don't have any permits. But we all know that because you admitted that. Winter is coming and out here in Sprague River they don't plow the roads. Hopefully you have a plan because you can't park in front of the property claiming to live there for too long. Eugene or Klamath Falls will end up home again.

People.... Pay attention. This is the way men should live. This is the way it has been for thousands of years, before humanity was crippled by privatized central banking. This is how it will be again, if we can manage not dying from all the snares they've set for us. I, for one, can't wait. As long as we save air conditioning, everything else can revert back to natural human community activity, not this rat trap we've been corralled into.

The barter system works, within reason, but so many people look at it as an x dollar for x dollar rather than a want/need/time/ability. Example would be our friend who had 5 acres of timbered, rural, ready to homestead property attached to a much larger farm piece. The barter ad was placed on a couple homesteading sites and conventional Craigslist type sites. In exchange for labor, skill in building a 40x40 basic shell of framed guest house (not enough time and skill for hands helping, so sought help) the acreage would be deeded over with other party paying for survey if wanted. Land was in county that had no planning and building dept and homesteaders all around. Every response was to state that land was valued at x amount (it nearly tripled in market value in less than a year following riots etc) and x amount of cash would be required as well as other asks, since their hourly rate was higher or they felt it was not fair. Friends sold property a bit later for much higher (land took off and homesteaders fleeing cities and other states was crazy high) and paid for help and pocketed the increase. Wish we'd known them at the time first offered, would've jumped at that barter! 😮😅
