In Matthew 13:41& 42 it says that the angels will gather those that offend and cast them into the furnace. and 1 Thessalonians 4:17: "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and also in the days of Noah the wicked were taken and the righteous left so how can those who are taken be righteous and those left behind be wicked in the rapture according to protestants.

@35:00 St. Pope Kyrillos I speaks in his Glaphyra about the two birds representing heaven in one sense (with the animals representing earth) and the incarnation in another sense (Christological union of natures into one).

The one thing about leadership is doesn’t matter who’s leading what matters is that everyone working together as a team. For example the hymns that we sing in the church it doesn’t matter who’s leading the hymn what matters is that all of us are singing the same hymn together.

Have been any reconciliation between eastern and oriental. Like to say if I’m orthodox eastern would I be in communion with oriental. And even say it’s the same? Regardless of the differences on rite.
@Jean133894 ай бұрын
I asked because 34:20 the father says they’re separated and it’s sad to hear this. As we’re catholic and universal.
@StPaulHouston4 ай бұрын
Thank you for your question. Currently, there has been no reconciliation between the Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox Churches. Despite various attempts, we remain separate. We continue to pray for unity.

One way to learn to say no is fasting in other words if I know how to say no to the non fasting food then it will be easy for me to say no to any temptation because this means that I’m avoiding getting myself in trouble. For example if my friends are telling me to go to a bad place with them then this means that I should say no because this means that I’m going to get myself in trouble with them.

The time that we need to observe is the talents in other words this is the time to examine ourselves and think about the talents that God gave us and how to use them wisely.

This is why you shouldn't lose hope in your team because even if they are down early they can still come back. In other words no lead is safe.

In general when making decisions it’s good to get counselling and advice from other people but just because they are giving you advice doesn’t mean they are making the decisions for you you’re the one that is making the decision.

One of the reasons why we are not consistent in our spiritual canon is because we choose the wrong time to pray in which actually we get distracted and we cannot concentrate on our spiritual canon.
@xmc71895 ай бұрын
True so but at times you are in situations where praying at the allocated time is impossible like when you are travelling etc

Another thing about taking responsibility is don't take more responsibility than what you can handle. For example don't say that I can do all of the services in the church on my own because this will stress you out and stress the other people out as well. Like in the liturgy for instance there's a responsibility for the deacons and responsibility for the priests, bishops, metropolitans, and the Pope. For example the priests can't tell the deacons to choose which orban will be the body of Christ because that's his responsibility. On the other hand the priests can't make the orban for the offering of the lamb because that's the deacon's responsibility.

One of the things about taking responsibility is that we shouldn’t do our responsibility and the responsibility of the other people because this actually will stress you out and the stress the other people out as well. And plus there’s a big difference between helping people with something and doing something that you know they can do by themselves. For example the parent can help the child with the homework but on the other hand the parent should not be doing the homework because when that happens this means that the parent is teaching the child to be lazy. Another point about taking responsibility is don’t wait until the last minute to do something because this actually will stress you out. For example let’s say that you have a test a week from Friday but instead of studying the whole week you wait until the day before which is Thursday and then you start studying this means that the chances of you passing the test is very slim just because you didn’t study the whole week. Another example is let’s say that you have a paper that is due in May but instead of working on it the whole month of April you wait until the last day of April and then you start working on it this means that chances of you getting the paper done is very slim because you waited until the last minute to do it. So in other words in general instead of waiting until the last minute to do the task just do it immediately.

The answer for th question why did God reject Cain's sacrifice is in Mathew 5: 23-24. Jesus himself is giving the answer. God already knew the heart of Cain and his jealousy heart towards his brother Abel .God also warned Cain ( Genesis 4:7).
