I am a Denver voter, and suggest we should not be able to vote on rural issues. The initial directive of the "Founding Fathers" was that voters needed to possess a "vested interest"... like property ownership in the area effected by the vote (in order to protect the country & its people from tyrannical government over-reach / influence). Denver should stick to "little" issues like illegal immigration (of course, into Denver only), so that we can all enjoy the benefits of watching those decisions unfold. Rather than forcing us to see how easy it is to ruin a once beautiful state.

If they do end up taking funding from public schools and putting them in private schools, the least they can do is make admission to private schools cheaper.

The last lady needs to realize that the debate over funding is not that simple. If you take some of the money for public schools to parents in a form of vouchers, then public schools become less funded. Because there'll still be the same number of teachers as before. I'm not against a voucher program, nor do I not think parents are the primary educators of their kids' education. But we need to do a better job understanding how funding is affected before we have any debate about enshrining education rights into the state constitution.

I agree with Sean Walsh with his disgrace of the week - I have been contacted by over 230 phone numbers (yes, I keep track) by the GOP, NRCC, NRSC, GOP candidates and all of them use the Win-Red platform for their fundraising. I've tried to use the "opt-out" tools on the GOP and Trump websites - no relief. They just keep coming. Typing doesn't work ... just seems like it encourages them more.

Maybe we should put an excise tax on pens, paper, microphones, cameras, and cell phones. Maybe tax social media posts or even TV and radio broadcasts. These are also tools used for constitutionally protected rights that when misused, always in the eye of the beholder, cause Far greater harm to our physical and mental health than guns do.

Pretty sure you can't tax a Constitutional right but I guess money is more important than those pesky rights. They will spend a small amount of the collected taxes on those programs listed and divert the majority to other projects/programs, they won't get in trouble for it, no one is going to care that they do it except those being taxed of course. In time they will raise the taxes because they need more money.

Here's the thing that was missed in this discussion and frankly every discussion that is had around "ballot box biology". The rural communities of Colorado, especially those interested in ranching and hunting have a disproportionate say in how our wildlife is managed in our state. Furthermore, the conversation around reintroduction efforts for many species, not just wolves has been dominated by corporate interests and lobbying groups such as the Colorado Oil and Gas Association, The Cattlemen's Association, The Elk Foundation and so on. The debate on reintroduction of wolves has been going on for over 20 years. I support ballot box biology. People tend to think that folks on the front range have all the say and influence, but that is simply not true when it comes to public land rights and wildlife. For the first time, this method actually gives environmentalist and preservationists a say.

It's a shame that you're no longer broadcast to southern Colorado OTA. I really miss the KBDI feed that we used to get. The programming was the only thing worth watching. Everything else is about merchandising and sales. What a waste the marvel of TV has become and how greed has warped our world. Capitalism has gone very wrong.

You keep trying with this show, but you miss almost every week. A panel that is too liberal cannot be correct without some input of reality. There was very little truth on this show. What a shame.
