Thanks for this wonderful video. My wife and I have been on 19 or 20 cruises, but this will be our first time on the Pride. It reminds me of the Conquest which was our first ever cruise ship and we consider it to be our home ship. After watching your video, we are looking forward to our trip.

You are correct, it is under the fitness center. The only time we heard any noise was during the day when the weight machines were being used. It was loud enough to notice. Fortunately, we were out of the cabin most of the time in the day, so it was not an issue for us.

Just returned (11/28/24) from a 5 day cruise on the Sunshine. We absolutely enjoyed it. Loved the fact that it held only 3000. Really enjoyed the Red Frog Rum Bar on the Lido deck.

I just returned (11/14/24) from a 5 day cruise on The Carnival Sunshine. It took about an hr to get on the ship after going through all the check points. It is an older ship. However, I enjoyed myself and have no major complaints. My room attendant (Wishnu) was amazing, and I met some lovely ladies who just wanted to have fun. There are some improvements that would enhance this cruise more, but I wanted to have a relaxing good time, and THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I HAD.

@@prabalkc7396 the area where we got in the water with the stingrays was only waist deep. The snorkeling area is about 20 feet deep.

Thank you. I will be on the Pride in a couple of weeks and was concerned about her condition....knowing she is an older ship. I know a lot can happen in the seven months since you did this video, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she will still be in good condition. Happy Sailing!

I started cruising last April I have already cruised 45 times on Sunshine only ❤ I have a back 2 back Saturday and then 4 more until she leaves so that will be 51 😊 I will get my Diamond milestone for 50 cruises on back 2 back Christmas

Sailing on my 6th Sunshine cruise this November. We love it because we live in Charlotte and can drive to the port the same day. We also love it because of Jijis and Cucina. On our upcoming 5 day - we're eating at Cucina once, Jijis twice and the Steakhouse twice - because we love them all. We love the Havana Bar in the mornings and afternoons as it's a little less crowded than the buffet for breakfast and lunch, plus they have an espresso machine behind the bar so we can get GOOD coffee in the morning without having to go down to Java Blue. Great video!!

@ the Charleston, SC port will be closing at the end of the year and Sunshine will port out of Norfolk, VA.

One of the things I disliked about the serenity area is the small hot tube. It is always full of people and they should put another one there. there always seem to be 5-6 very heavy people in it all the time (yes I am calling the kettle black) I don't mind other people there but the tube is too small. last two cruises I was on it seemed like they were very understaffed for service. like no delivery to the red frog pub or other common areas.

This is the prettiest lido and serenity I have ever seen!! I hope to go on her in 2026!! (Already have two cruises booked for 2025 and the boss said no more! 😂)

Even though she's an older ship, we really enjoyed cruising on her and Carnival has completed a lot of upgrades and improvements on this ship.

Not sure on the size of the balcony Cloud 9 cabins, we haven't stayed in any yet, but I don't believe they would be much bigger than the standard balcony cabin. The Cloud 9 interior cabin was about what you would expect size wise to a standard interior cabin. Thanks for watching!

The Vista is a beautiful ship, but it seems to suffer from so many mechanical problems and issues with the engines. I wouldn’t sail on it for anything.

Thanks for the honest and open feedback. I have a B2B booked in over a week and wasn't sure how I was going to react to being on such a small ship. I've been on the Breeze, Sunrise, Conquest, Liberty x2, Magic x3, and Horizon x2. I have the Celebration booked for B2B in November, so first time for Excel class. Will be interesting to go from the oldest and smallest ship to the (almost) newest and biggest ship Carnival has to offer within a couple of months.

Oh boy, we booked this cruise ship for next year October. It's going to Belize, a place we have always wanted to go to. I know other ships go there but this one worked best for us. I hope we have a better experience.

It's an older ship and with that has some issues but I'm sure you will enjoy even so! We still had a great time. We had a good idea what the experience would be like from sailing on some of the other fantasy class ships and wasn't surprised. Enjoy your cruise!

Did you feel alot of movement being at the front of the ship? We board next week, our first time in an interior spa cabin on Sunshine. We usually get midship deck 6.

All the Spirit class ships are designed this way, they were created as "all weather ships" the high glass and pool with a retractable roof are part of it. This allows guest to swim and hang out on deck in much cooler and/or windy weather. They are also lower and thinner on purpose. It can go under bridges a lot of other ships cannot, go to smaller ports and travel through the Panama Canal. The Spirt was a great ship for our Alaska cruise last September with cooler weather (I walked on deck at night with shorts and T-shirt) and it navigated the fjords with ease.

I wish I could say we LOVE this ship but 2 non smokers are choked out on the Pride with the casino. We just cannot breathe with the amount of smoke that is all over. Older ship does not have good air system in casino and we love to spend a little time in the casino.

We just got off the ship like 2 days ago, this is my second time on it and I loved it. The only thing I disliked is if you don’t pay for excursions the second you get off the boat you are bombarded with 100s of locals trying to sell to you and some of them because very pushy. You can definitely tell there was some tourist traps. Other than that the boat and staff were amazing we met some really nice people. Our main cleaner I forget his name was on point remembered everyone’s names and was instant if you needed any help/ request
