My 48” THERMADOR RANGE/Oven thermostat can’t be repaired due to not carrying parts both ovens are unusable and broiler element is out too. Model# GCR484GG. Thermador stopped making parts available after 20 yr. Can someone suggest a place that might have an old inventory of parts??

Be good to add what buttons to simultaneously push for 3-5 seconds, ie ICE and SETUP or ICE and ? after filter is changed. Manuals are terrible on this step!

I’m having a hard time getting rid of my streaks on my Thermidor refrigerator. I’ve tried with a soft cloth going horizontal and then following up with a dry soft cloth going horizontal it doesn’t seem to work need help.

Is this a duel fuel oven? Do you have to use the steam in this oven? Also, I have read negative reviews on an electric oven for cooking, any thoughts? Thanks

I learned the hard way that not removing the racks prior to self cleaning ruined them. Up until I cleaned the oven the racks operated smoothly, now they jam and do not go back to their original position.

I would suggest being extremely careful inserting a halogen light bulb while the light switch is already on. I found this out the hard way :()

What do you recommend to do if I’ve replaced the bulbs and they still don’t come on? I can hear a beep when I press the light on/off switch. Vent fan works fine.

Absolutely disappointed with all my Thermadore products. I will never purchase Thermadore again. Gas cooktop cannot be cleaned and one one of the burners keeps clicking as if it’s igniting.

The 2nd type of bulb is very hard to replace because of the position and angle.

I have had my range top for a few years. Of those few years it has probably looked nice for about 1 day. The video is useless. I need to know how to clean cooked on food and grease not how to clean a perfectly clean unit. I wrote Thermador a while ago and they told me to clean it with mild soap and water. Ridiculous. I tried Magic eraser today and it did a much nicer job than soap and water BUT it did not get the stubborn stains up. I am very unhappy with the product. In addition to be impossible to clean, and absolute lack of support regarding this, the rubber feat came off the grates fairly rapidly. The "replacement feet kit" comes with 4 rubber feet and glue for $40.79. My range top has 3 grates so I need to spend $120 to fix this. If the cost comes from the glue, well it did not hold well as it took a few months before some of the feet fell off. Lastly I have to say that the flame control is very poor. Not a great product, unless you don't use it, then it is beautiful.

Have a Thermador black enamel cooktop w star gas burners like the video, and also can't get areas around burners clean. That area is cloudy and not shiny like the less-used middle section. Tried alcohol, glass cleaner, non-abrasive scrubby w dish soap---nothing removes cloudiness. Also have a six month old Thermador refrigerator that has already needed a repair. And still waiting for Thermador wall ovens to arrive after ordering mid June 2021. Not happy with Thermador. If you haven't bought already, buy something else.

What happens if my filter is stuck and I have a very hard time getting it out? I really wish they would make this much easier.

Horrible design for a supposedly top-of-the-line appliance. I finally just bent back the clips for fear of breaking the glass lense by torquing an unseen sweet spot with a screwdriver to pop the clips off. That you play jolly music with this totally unrealistic and unhelpful video adds insult to injury. On a positive note, I will definitely consider the ease of DIY maintenance for future appliances.

4k US dollars and hasn't worked for more than a week total. Not worth the money and customer service is all about avoidance.

I tried Michelle D’s advice and the Mr. Clean magic erasers worked great on the black enameled stovetop, star covers and grates. SO much better! I used the regular magic eraser with a little bit of natural free and clear dish soap. I scrubbed the ME into little pieces, but it took all of the burned on stuff on the cooktop completely off.

Very easy to assemble.
