I have found this video extremely helpful as i have large dairy sheep who will probably dance around. We tried rolling them over last year and shearing the standard wool and dairy sheep way, but WOOF. They are 85%+ East Friesians (with a little Lacaune, Polypay, and Rideau Arcott). my largest ewe is over 300lbs and i am NOT that strong. Now they're pregnant and I'm trying to minimize stress and not have them just getting flopped around for 20 minutes while i figure it out. Hahaha. Seeing Shawn handle this little dancer is helping me feel a little less anxious about not getting a serious nick on my sweet ewes. Great instruction!

This is funny….we look at saturated fat and the grass fed is significantly more. Saturated fat is important.
@RanchTV Жыл бұрын
Grass fed beef may be lower in total fat, because the animal has not deposited as much marbling in the steak. A higher percentage of the fat is saturated fat.

I think that the groups promoting hormones allow the animals to grow faster in a shorter amount of time. A grass fed animal will take several years in order to achieve market weight and that’s why it’s expensive. I think that consumers weren’t choice and consumers definitely have choice, but if people continue to eat meat at the rates, but the population is currently eating meat, then there’s going to need to be increased use of antibiotics and hormones to meet the demand.

GMO grains like corn and soybean fed to livestock metabolize/ferment into the three greenhouse gasses that pollute the air, water and soil. If you're so intellectually dishonest NOT to admit that then you're part of the problem
