In some books it is given that jet and open-width dyeing mc are preffered for cotton knitted fabric...is it true? If yes, how? Jet will damage dimensional stability na?

Yes it's also dyed in these machines but it can be managed by temperature, flow rate of jet , liquor ratio and some more condition are managed thats why it could be dyed in these machines
