It’s how I’ve designed my own mind since a child. I do learn full time. It helps I can actively learn nearly anything. I’m interested to how this can be practically applied to education. I’m now looking at schools from climbing out of audhd burnout. Are there any mentors who to speak with ?

Those of us that avoid do so because the trauma we encountered growing up. The pain never seems to be worth the reward. As a child i put in all the effort i could in school. Never doing well. In junior high i discovered i did just as well when i put little effort in so i stop trying hard. It was not until Highschool that they determined i was dyslexic putting me in special programs. By that point i was 3 years behind in my reading and writing skills. I never did well in traditional settings. I do better when teaching myself.

Does anyone have a citation for the research on the "learn actively" slide? where 1/3 of students could recall what the lesson was about?

Very Nice presentation Prof O, especially rich in implications for enhanced teaching-learning skills. Despite not being from the mainstream field of Psychology and Behavioural Science, your presentation is indeed v.helpful.
