She just said Penguins can jump 9ft in the air Now I'm still figuring how to fact check while typing! Having solid, dense bones helps penguins overcome buoyancy. Not only do they "fly" underwater, these Adélie penguins appear to "fly" out of the water easily jumping 1.8 m (6 ft.) into the air. This behavior is commonly seen when penguins come ashore onto rough or high terrain such as ice floes and rocky shorelines. Is Water a Controlled Substance? Interesting bird, this bird I believe I got on film here in Sweden a few days ago. The thing is that it should not be here at all, not even in Europe. Guess there must be a logical reason for it.

Apart from its historical significance, there is not much that is aesthetlcally beautiful re St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. My opinion - others may think differently. I do wish that the Catholic Cathedral of St, Matthew the Apostle in Washington D.C. was included. It is a truly beautiful example of Byzantine architecture with a spectacular dome and mosaics - and a noteworthy organ to boot.

I am Catholic but am awestruck whenever I visit the National Cathedral. Even though it is the seat of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington D.C, it is was originally founded to be, as stated in its mission statement, a house of prayer for all people. It is the site of many high profile national events such as state and presidential funerals and is the burial place of president Woodrow Wilson. The 9/11 memorial service was held there and when was in D.C. last month there was a wonderful veterans day concert. Their music program is outstanding.
