I catch most of my live bait seining small ditches etc., I have captured a few darters myself and they were different than the one you showed but still a pretty cool kinda fish.

Logperch, which is a type of darter in the perch/walleye family. I always make sure to release em safely because theyre important to keeping a healthy fishery, and most darters can pretty easily get wiped out if you're not careful. That's a hell of a chub there at the end too. Looks like a good spot

@Pontoon_Catfishing the flat head definitely eating on the Kanawha the what temperature just right I missed some big fish I was useing small circle hooks because all I had was baby shad and 3 inch skip Jack's I thank I hook them in tooth patch because I had my pole bent over all way to the water prbly like 5 times missed a lot of hook sets

@@robbiesmith9786 yeah I pulled out a good flathead the other day (video on my channel) and today I hooked onto a channel cat but came off at surface 😆. The bait fish were wild today on the Kanawha. Definitely catfish biting on the river.

Any recommendations on any bank spots?? Me and a good friend of mine tried where paint creek meets the kanawha this past Saturday.

Yea any place where river or creek runs in other river good place but I just try few different spots never spend more than 2 hours in a spot with no fish I go the locks and just fish 3 or 4 different spots on way home to I find a place where they are biteing can't really say any spot is better than other because u never know till u throw some times I git skunked all my bank spots
