I wish he would explain what the rider needs to do when he says turn him on your left or right leg. Please explain what your hands and legs need to be doing to turn the left or right. Thank you.

What is this sport called ?
7 ай бұрын
This sport is called *Showjumping* It is an equestrian sport where horse and rider navigate a course of obstacles. Skills required include precision, control, timing, and agility, both from the horse and rider, to clear jumps without faults and within a set time. Other similar sports where horses need to jump are : Eventing (Cross-Country Jumping) Hunter Classes Steeplechase Fox Hunting (Banned in the UK since 2005) Arena Eventing If you are interested to learn, start by basic horse-riding. Take your time because this sport can be VERY DANGEROUS and it needs a long time to master (many years). Always wear a helmet and safety vest. If you don't LOVE horse-riding- don't do this sport at all.

This is an incredibly important video needed very badly to educate individuals that are doing concrete road racing with their horses and it is wrong. Please keep up the great work and I will share this to educate.

This is interesting, I didn't know that a rigid steel shoe would expand and contract with the hoof as landing and push off happens. That was an interesting illustration of a rigid steel shoe expanding and contracting. In which universe was this video created? Oh, but wait a minute, this video was created by the company that is selling arena footing material for profit. So, in the universe of making profit, steel shoes defy the laws of physics and expand and contract on landing and push off. I get it.

Maybe it was a plastic shoe lol. I noticed that too, it was definitely odd. Everything else made sense to me though

Gosh men are so strong and they look so beautiful riding the big jumps. Girl legs always move a bit more. He sounds a little...umm, scared or worried? The ride was great and the horse was pulling at the reigns but he had enough strength and soft hands to pull her back. Great combo, but he doesn't sound confident, although he should be...Also guys tend to ride in front of the girth... Wonder why that is..?

Laney kidd They are not? He is doing a crest release, so the horse HAS reins and can stretch their neck out. Thats why people stretch up the necks and put their hands there. The horse isn’t being pulled on.
