I used to stay in Muirhouse with my mate Arron morris aka Moz. Havent seen the guy in yeras but i loved it down there and it had a worst reputation than it should have had. I never had any problems down there and everyone welcomed me. We all go through lives crap in our own way.

My grandad used to live down in muirhouse. Was mental when I used to go down and visit him. One time when I was 9, I was walking with my dad round to those wee shops beside that tunnel area, and the street was literally filled with children launching fireworks at all the flats and houses 😅. A testament to edinburgh city council!! In muirhouse if you're black/bame, they give you 5 star treatment. If you're born there, expect the bolshy, pinko dictators from the local labour party to give you hell on earth!!! They will house you in damp, vermin and bug infested pigeon lofts.
