I don't remember the show but I must have watched it, as the image of that creepy, more bitchy Victoria Woodesque Box is burned into my brain, along with all the other creepy puppets of the day - Rosie and Jim, The Riddlers, Tots TV, the list goes on. Lots of the children's TV was vaguely sinister back then somehow, but I still loved it. I used to flick between The BBC Broomcupboard and CITV, so I probably gave most of this show a miss in favour of a cartoon on the other side.
