I was born in '67 in Pennsylvania I knew about Mother Maybelle and her family but I just recently started listening to the songs. Of course both sets of grandparents were fans. I've recently become one especially considering the time these ladies were growing up. So much talent passed down Maybelle

I don't find a biblical basis for the song beyond talking about love for others. Saying that we can hear everyone upstairs crying from here does not seem correct, in my opinion, since sadness does not exist in heaven.
