@LDJITA personally i think it’s more capable than the juno. the juno 106 is way overhyped. just my personal opinion

@@brwnb0ymusic I agree. Considering that for the time it was a synthesizer designed to be cheaper than the others. I personally love the sound of the Juno but since I am poor I use the VST emulation which for me is absolutely fine.. However when I use my $300 behringer pro800 I am amazed by the warmth and the fact that today, for a low cost, you get two oscillators that without chorus, in my opinion, surpass the sonic greatness of a Juno that does not use chorus. Nevertheless the Juno is one of my favorite poly. As you said is my personal opinion and I think that the goal is make music

@LDJITA dont get me wrong. i guess what i mean is its overpriced. its a great synth for $700-1000 but the alpha juno is technically a more capable synth with the same oscillators for way cheaper. the interface isn’t as easy to use but every other feature is better.

@ the jx8p is also a great synth with two DCOs, the only problem is that the programmer itself costs more than the single keyboard hahah.

I'm following all the instructions but still having trouble. To confirm, midi in in tr6s, midi out in digitakt, output cable from tr6s into digitakt? feel like there's maybe some settings I have wrong as well but not sure. Any pointers would be appreciated I feel like I'm very close to getting it!

For the life of me, I can't understand why you can't use the sequencer and arpeggiator at the same time. The JDXi could do that in 2009.

@@Xanaduum it is weird. i also ran into the problem that the minifreak won’t use its amp envelope for sequenced notes. i have to adjust the length of the midi note on the digitakt, which is also very weird to me

starting to think with the kick at c3 with keyboard fold you could have all of those sounds as a keyboard to play like mpc style but yea step record requires using all the midi tracks

you could program it all with the keyboard roll on one midi channel but that's way more work. the snare and the clap can share a midi channel as well as the closed and open hihat. that's only 3 midi channels for kick, snare, clap, open, and closed hihat. but I like setting up the step sequence method with the Digitakt because I can record each line into Ableton individually by muting the midi signals to the other channels so easily.

google the tr6s manual. should have both the cc controls and what note triggers which channel. otherwise you can always just guess and check scrolling through the notes on the Digitakt

@@chezlevisie there are different stages of filter on the tr6s. there is a filter for the instrument and the filter for the kit. maybe somehow the ccs are only controlling the filter for the bd channel

it isn’t. i just ordered the right adapter. what i was planning on doing was letting the digitakt work as the sequencer for samples on the sp and running the sound back into to digitakt for arrangement and recording it all back into ableton via overbridge
