I love this song. It got me through a couple of very painful break-ups by allowing me to grieve and laugh. Because... Yeah. This song is so underrated.

I saw this the night it aired and it blew me away. This is the best televised performance I have ever seen. The tension in the build up from the verses to the chorus is pure contained rage that explodes through the percussionist and vocals. For years I only had a memory of this performance. So glad I found it on KZbin.

Find peace, brother. Art will help you heal. I always loved Everclear. Self loathing hate rock with a twist of punk all wrapped up so you can dance. Or be retrospective. Or commiserate with others. Or be neurotic.

I saw them a.couple of days before that video. It wasn't a good performance to me. The live show was much better than that. Whoever made the arrangements that day....

Not so long ago up here in Cleveland Ohio, one of the more pop oriented radio stations would sample the "father of mine" phrase from this song as part of their Father's Day promos and I would laugh.
