I had that same view in 2010 flying from Columbus, Ohio. I was seated in back row in right rear next to a stranger. Just before take off, Flight attendant had me move up left front behind first class for weight distribution. It was awesome seeing the statue of liberty and Manhattan.

Did this is in Sept. it’s the south to north pattern. Hit land over Coney Island, continue north over Brooklyn then into Queens passing over Sunnyside, Jackson Heights then final descent over east Elmhurst , the Grand Central Parkway then the runway.

Very nice! I've seen quite a few Logan takeoff and landing videos but never one from runway 27 before. It's definitely the best view. Great views of central Boston and Jamaica Plain and Jamaica Pond.

*Amazing* I have a unique perspective on this video as after seeing a few of these my actual bldg in Brooklyn is on the flight path. All of the videos cut off at about the same spot. This means that my bldg shows up exactly the same in each video, plus or minus 5 stories. The flight paths of these planes are amazingly similar especially when you take into consideration speed, direction and altitude. Somehow there is a flyway in the sky that the pilots can direct through. I'm amazed that it is such an exacting path that the planes all follow. I'm amazed that it varies so little.

You could have clipped aout 10 minutes off this video. Its not until 10.5 minutes in that the plane finally takes off and we see Boston on a beautiful, sunny winter day. Thanks for sharing, anyhow. : - ).

Hence why I time coded it. Trying to edit 4K video on my computer ends in a render that takes hours and ends in quality loss. Thanks for the comment.
