Hey Joelle! I have coded a single stage variant that is able to handle any gas input (as long as the O2 partial pressure is high enough) and make breathable air. Single IC (optional second IC to handle the liquids with a pump designated for each type of liquid) and it just hits temperature targets and waits for each gas to subsequently condense out of the system before heating it back up in the end with just oxygen and nitrogen at the ratios you want. Even allows for dialing in the ratios of CO2/O2/N2

Liquids are incredible fun :D And I exploded my base just twice because of them :D By the way: gasses go into liquid state under certain pressure / temperature conditions. And per chance I found out, that CO2 seems to be the safest cooling gas as it turns directly into a solid if going too cold - which gas pipes don't seem to mind as of yet.

Neat idea! I got inspired and went for a different approach based on reversing the hash function directly. This has some nice advantages like being able to use descriptive names and include the hash value in the name for reference. For example, you could set up serial addressing for hydroponics/harvies with names like: Tomato (1) [KQ]HVF]UP Harvie (1) [Y^VFCJL_E Tomato (2) [FJQFSKYAG Harvie (2) [TEZHFGHKR Soy (3) [F\^BG\JPY Harvie (3) [TEAXU[EN@ Surprisingly, reversing the CRC32 hash was the easy part. Making sure that what came out the other end consisted of printable characters was the tricky bit. Maybe I'll put a full writeup somewhere later.

Ok idea time, here is what I'm thinking: a self cooling loop from furnace exhaust, given that pollutant liquefies so easily at pressure and that that furnace exhaust is usually full of it (pressure and pollutant). Making like a heat exchanger (in one of your recent videos), where condensed pollutant goes into the chamber and evaporates back again drawing heat, a back-pressure valve to make sure it stays under condensation pressure, and venting the excess off. What I'm wondering though, is how to make sure that the mix of gases is clear from pollutant before moving on to the next phase, and I guess filtering out the next elements without needing A/C. I think it could be done with pressure alone and some passive cooling, using nitrogen as pressurant makes sense, maybe condensation chamber for the separation?

Cool, still don't know what the heat pump is for though.

Both of these things make it difficult for me to speak clearly. I completely understand how my disability/illness makes me as a presenter, uninteresting... Put the doors down first, then add more blacks after... but they also might have changed the way doors work, this video is rather old. Alternatively, you can place your blocks and door, but offset from one another, then load the save file, find the object, and manually set the coordinates. You can also use that technique to flip things in direction they don't normally let you.
