Angela was classy and elegant as usual. Very informative. The interviewers not so much. They quickly became ditsy ‘fan girls’ which detracted from the interview itself. Angela is always great!

you totally missed it on q4. the "brother"/best friend was totally cockblocked. 5 years. obviously one showed interest in the other at some stage & she was like nope, he's my backup. her male "best friend" is my brother so dont go there but now im getting married & i dont need a backup plan so he's available to you now. this was deliberate.

Holy fuck, Onlyfans is an online brothel ffs, not empowerment in any way shape or form. That's a lie you wanna tell yourself, but in reality it's use and get used, also the perfect storm to condition the users for human sex trafficking, it's basically made by criminals for this purpose. Not healthy in any shape or form. It should be banned.

It really doesn't matter what you do, you will always have haters, especially on the internet. A big problem is, people no longer know how to deal with their differences, if I don't like what your doing, it's game on, break out the cancel culture!

Only fans ceases to be empowering if people have to do outrageous things to maintain their income. She created something but now it seems out of control. Her team was incompetent and didn’t protect her. They could have had sti strips, security they had people just bring their unvetted friends….. fire all of them.

Re. "I'm pregnant, but I'm not keeping it. Should I tell him?", my thought is that whilst it won't change (and nor should it) the ultimate outcome, I think an obligation to tell him falls under the realm of common decency. I agree that it should be framed in the sense of "I fell pregnant, I'm not keeping it, just thought that you should know." Even if, in all likelihood, you never see thos man again, I believe that this approach avoids the six degrees of separation (fewer these days due to social media) outing this "big secret" when it is inconvenient, when it needn't be a big secret in the first place.

I must have been living under a rock because I've only just recently heard Dance Monkey, which has introduced me to Tone and I's other music. I am so sorry to hear how she had been treated and I am glad that she has overcome and seems to be happy now. She seems like such a sweet person and I wish for her that the best is yet to come. As for her music, i really like the unique sound of her voice, but her new music has such a powerful sound to it. I really like Dance Monkey, but the power and soul from her newer music is absolutely amazing - just pure beauty. Loving it from the USA.

I’ve changed my mind about this topic in the last few years and I have to say I kind of disagree with the DeNiro conversation about being selfish. Young people who have children can also decline in health, die, or have an accident and require care and the child will be exposed to that. There are also people out there who shouldn’t be allowed to breed full stop! I think if a child is born into a loving home, it shouldn’t really matter to anyone else.

Why would such a pretty woman lower herself to such things. Did she get in the guinness world record? Animals don't even break that record. She seems so accomplished and proud of herself. I don't understand how, it has to be a sickness or mental illness she's struggling with. That's nothing to be proud of laying with 100 men in one day. Her fans and supporters are not her friends, they just want the entertainment and some of them are probably doing similar stuff. No self respect or dignity. I've no respect for people like that. We all have the right to make our own decisions and believe in what we want to believe in. Every choice has an outcome. Some outcomes may not occur until years later.

I haven't yet heard the interview with Elizabeth Gilbert. but WOW. I am definitely going to listen. What a profound message to send to young women and I absolutely agree that we are sold this fairytale that promises happiness, health and security, when in reality, so many women are subjected to caring roles that suck the life out of them. I am so moved by that snippet of the interview. I love this podcast so much. Happy New Year girls x

She’s not crying from physical exhaustion like the runner you compare her to. Someone is treating her with humanity and asking how she’s feeling perhaps for the first time. We’re seeing her genuine, spontaneous feelings about her experience.

Only fans and sex work is not empowering. Anyone who would “choose” it is missing something major in themselves. There are so many ways to make a living without literally selling ourselves. We need to be honest about the cost and social impact of these actions.

I would seriously think about doing it if I had the looks and the talent. And you are right, I am missing something major: It`s MONEY!!!! I am a woman and I work in warehouses, my knees and back gave in this year, even so I am only 38. But please, tell me about "THESE WOMEN ARE SELLING THEIR BODIES!!!" You are not actually outraged about that, unless you are outraged about my situation just the same. No, you are outraged that she is selling her sexuality. Be at least honest, as you commended others to be. And maybe ask yourself: Would you feel the exact same if a man would do what she did? Just an interesting thought experiment. I have a lot of problems with HOW she did it and I think it`s very extreme. But yes, it`s more similar to extremem sports than anything else.

This is a great conversation, however I have to say that the comparison to Ned is very different because that man is exhausted as an athlete. The difference is how Lily expresses herself after the fact almost with a regret which is why so many people would believe that she did regret this. Being an athlete and running a marathon is considered normal behavior whereas sleeping with 100 men isn’t. So of course those feelings are both very different when looking at what they are both doing. It’s not just physical exhaustion think of what that does to you spiritually? I’m sure she probably wrestles with her feelings of self worth and morality. And I’m not passing judgment because I’m no one to judge and believe we should all have the liberty to explore in our lives, but at what cost?

Liz, you are speaking to my soul right now. I'm so much happier not in a relationship. I did not like being married. I did much better in a long-term relationship not living together. I loved him deeply AND I began having a lot of chronic illness 4 years in. With my partner's death I'm alone again. I put so much energy into the relationship that I neglected parts of myself, including my work life. I'm now 70 with no one to answer to. I'm grieving the loss of my partner. At the same time, there are little bubbles of anticipation rising about my new life. It’s my time to find my emotional autonomy. I'm so grateful.
