@@s1mone477 ZERO lol I didn’t know any Chinese when I arrived and you don’t need to know Chinese. Schools really care about your English proficiency and how well you are with students. Now since I’ve lived here for 2 years now, I’ve picked up some Chinese but I’m still not fluent nor can I hold a conversation. Thanks for watching! 😊

@@sierrawilliams5982 Aaawww I’m happy to know my story is inspiring! I really needed that! We weren’t impacted by the big earthquake at the beginning of April, BUT these last few days there have been a lot of aftershocks from a recent earthquake. We are fine, just motion sick from the swaying of buildings but we are fine! Thank you for asking! If you can, I definitely say come visit Taiwan either with friends/family or alone. Either way, you will like it! 😊

Thank you! We came on a student visa, but you can come on a visitor’s visa for 90 days and if you find a job (within 90 days), the company will help you change to an employer visa. If you don’t find a job, you can leave Taiwan for 1 day (24 hours) and come back the next day to start your 90 day visitor visa over. Hope this helps! 😊

Taiwan is so beautiful and everyone is so friendly. One of the safest places to travel hands down! Try going out to Yilan, county ❤ also Taroko Gorge is beautiful, and Jiufen Teahouse!!! Xiaolongbao (steamed pork dumplings) is my fav food in Taiwan & dont forget to go to all the night markets!! Have fun 😊

At first I was very skeptical about the night market because its new to me, but now I LOVE THE NIGHT MARKETS! I want to try all of them throughout Taiwan lol
