Gotta say after looking at all these vids, big fan of how you've made this, as a spinosaurid fan myself. I've never thought paleo-accuracy belongs in ARK with how stylized it likes to make everything (which I'm a fan of), but this feels like a good middle ground, like what I view a lot of PK's dinosaur designs to be (their iguanodon will forever be my favorite iteration of the critter). Likewise, I love the design of your lad here. More realistic, but feels more than "just" realistic spoon. Sure could be "ARKified" a bit more, but to each their own and im loving the way it looks and functions. Eagerly awaiting when it releases! It doesn't replace/remap vanilla spino, does it?

Appreciate it. I am also in the same boat where pure paleo accuracy would look strange in ark, also agreed with the love for PK (their spino design is the best in the world). It does remap the spino spawns. I don't consider my spino a TLC but just think it would be strange having two different spinos running around the ark

@Mrtburt-z5v oof, I also remap spino in one of my own mods, which is a tweak to the creature's kit more than this complete TLC/replacement. No worries though, I can probably finagle it somehow via ini and the spawn blocker mod. I just hope it's not 100% incompatible, like Paleo Ark. Also yes, their spoon is fantastic. Literally every design of their knocks it out of the park in my book. It's why I'm overhyped for their upcoming bear.

Great job man, I've been waiting for a paleo accurate spino mod for ark. As has been said, I hope you can release it before the end of the year since paleo ark team's empirosaurus is coming out. And as a personal suggestion I would make the steps a little less noisy since the animal is not very corpulent, but hey I love the model and all the animations.

That setting will be disabled by default and if you want to use it you can enter an INI

Wow that’s actually so cool how you got it to feed on the Coels by sticking its snout into the water does it attract the fish ai towards the spino when it’s does this or do you have to wait for them to get close?

The fish AI is unchanged but the spino will naturally try wander to the nearest fishes before fishing
