Mean riff bro! I had a flashback moment to a song you did years ago that had a music video shot in a warehouse... Maybe in upper hutt? What was that called again

That ending reminds of when Bob Rock is next to Kirk in the AYAHITLOM pt. 1 doc when the latter finishes his (first, probably) successful take. 😁

Play it without the cd. I see some discrepancies in the main riff. Power chord E5, F#,F5

Alright, time to finally drop a comment after watching this video easily a few hundred times. Even die hard Metallica fans probably don't realize this is arguably James' best rhythm work ever. This song is insanely complicated, which is probably why they never played it live (or not until later and only by request). My sleeper hit from And Justice for sure. This is one of the best covers of all time: it is flawless and that's saying something because of the complexity.

That whole section and after is probably some of Metallica's hardest riffs. Keep going dude. Start slow and work up.

@@cwmmetalthe whole song is confusing honestly. This one, ktulu and blackened really get me. I just don’t hear it right. It literally is the notes in between that fuck with me. I take solace in knowing Metallica didn’t want to play it because it was difficult

Really never got the praise for this album. when cliff died they lost their sense of melody. AJFA is a chore to listen to.
@cwmmetal Жыл бұрын
I think that's the point, mate. It's raw anger, pain, and hurt. It reflects right down to the mixing decisions, with how almost cold and 'metallic' this album sounds (especially without the bass). If you think about losing Cliff for context this album starts to make way more sense.

@drippy6941 If I remember correctly yes, but the Amp is not so important in these Tones, it's all about the Impulse Response - any of the free Metal Amps you can download should work as good
