I really just wanted to say that in a world of increasing having to rent various things and rebuy video games I've bought in the past, I really appreciate that you're website is a one time fee for lifetime access. It has been an amazing investment in my jiujitsu journey that keeps on giving.

I've been searching for a choke called cho gi does anyone know where I can find it?
@Miguel817jr3 ай бұрын
I've tried this before and it feels like when I try to rock to my side and extend they just drop their knee sideways for a knee slice type of position. any tips on how to prevent this?
@batmanwayne497725 күн бұрын
i think that's what pulling your knee to your chest is for.. it denies the knee slice space..

THIS is what I've been looking for. I'm a 0 stripe WB and need the BASIC concepts. What grips should I look for? What positions should I be trying to get as a starting point? So many videos online that assume you've already gotten there. Thank you for this one.

Great video. I’m 66 started last year but had a few months out. For me BJJ gives you a great workout, it is psychologically and physically demanding and the camaraderie is wonderful. But BJJ is part of a wider health and fitness regime. Kettlebells, yoga, running all support what I can do in BJJ. Now here is something I think of. When you’re older they say learn a language it’s good for your brain. I think of BJJ as a “language”. learning techniques, figuring out how to mould that into rolling, understanding angles, leverage & tactics. So that an intellectual challenge then applying it on the mats. ( oh and I’m learning Italian !)

Can anyone explain why this technique is less effective in gi? Is it only the bulk of the gi?

Be careful of your wrists getting injured as you try to frame the same hip they are dropping tho.
