We just bought about 8 acres in western WA. We just moved our shed to cabin conversion there. Also very steep but planning for retirement. This looks real nice. Good luck to y'all.

Thanks for making this video. Always interesting to see how people do different DIY projects :) Does your home DIY oil/sealant stay on the wood well, or does some of it come off with rain causing an oily/shine to the ground around it?

@@PetrichorXFi What we've seen is that the majority of the oil soaks into the wood. Although we haven't noticed, because it is an oil, rain fall probably does remove some. Thanks for watching!
