Corn bread is great any time of year! And, the pan is super! Just re-watched the unboxing vid when you got that skillet. I am still amazed that it was not harmed in shipping.

Val these are ALSO still available at Cracker Barrel and Cracker Barrel online. I agree, cornbread is awesome all year round.

Great instructions and method. I live in high altitude area. Do everything the same but instead of 12 minutes have to cook 15 minutes and then rest off heat.

After you let it rest, I fluff it up with a fork then cover again and let it steam for another 20 mins. Particularly for Basmati. Comes out light and fluffy.

If you're going to date pot, I'm glad it's the iron kind and not the one that makes you go "WOOOW DOOOD!" Or you could start dating humans again. I know, I know. But it's been YEARS, you really need to move on!

There are so many ways and methods when it comes to cooking rice. This way looks great!! I’ve always been told 1 part rice, and 1-1/2 to 2 parts water, wash rice, bring to boil, add pinch salt/pat of butter, cover, reduce to low, 18 minutes later, cut off heat..2-3 minutes later, fluff, serve and enjoy, or cover, let cool, put in air tight container and refrigerate till cold, use for fried rice, etc..
