We had one of these at my local arcade called The Fun Machine in Fern Park/Casselberry, Florida back in the late 80s/early 90s and I was always enthralled with it

I played on one of these as a kid, but the arcade owner had disabled the motion for safety reasons! So I didn't get the full experience.

I remember playing this as a kid. Its was £1 per play which was crazy expensive compared to most other games in the arcade which were 10p - 20p per play.

This is an insane story but I had memories of this thing from when I was a child of a game that played Sonic 3 music from an old kids amusement part in my city and I thought to myself "I will never find the machine that made that noise" and I FINALLY FOUND IT BECAUSE THIS VIDEO EXISTS and I LITERALLY only thought this was a LOST MEMORY.. AND THIS VIDEO PLAYS THE SONIC 3 MUSIC SO IT CONFIRMS THIS WAS THE MACHINE FROM MY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES!!! So TY FOR MAKING THIS RANDOM VIDEO!!!! WOW!!

The screen is now very messed up on this unit at skylon tower. Unfortunate :( Edit: Oh upon further inspection, it's messed up in this video too. Now the entire screen rolls vertically though.

I wonder if they got the Indy 500 setup from Sega City in Mississauga. That was the showcase of the entire arcade back in the day for me. I'll have to try to stop by here one day!

WOW. Amazing video. I haven't seen a "Sega Indy 500 8 player Arcade game" in years. Not since the 90s or early 2000s. It's HUGE. Do you know if this is the last Sega Indy 500 8 player arcade operating in the world? It's so big.

When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time at the older arcade at the McKinley Mall, the little dimly lit one that was near the food court. Thanks for posting this!
