Lingopie is a SCAM they will charge you for their so called free trial and there's nothing you can do about it because they will stop responding.

Both apps are supplemental. I don’t believe anyone has become fluent in a new language solely using Pimsleur. Personally, I prefer the LingQ immersion method over set lessons, which IMO are often boring and monotonous. Though admittedly, LingQ could and should be better at explaining how to properly use the app, because I can definitely see it being overwhelming for a beginner.

Hey there! I’m an L3 and thinking about bar prep. To clarify, can you jump back and forth from recorded lecture to live lecture as desired so you have the option of live or recorded daily?

Nice review, thanks! BTW there are two expressions in English, "make sure (somebody) does something", and "be sure to do something", and you seem to be mixing them up/merging them together, "make sure to do something" , which is kind of odd for someone keen on languages! ;) But thanks anyway.

I already have a lifetime account for Babbel and Pimsleur to learn Spanish. Is it worth getting Rocket Spanish too? 🤔

I bought a Kaplan OAT Prep Plus 2023-2024 and I have a few questions about the online resources. 1. I would like to download the pdf ebook so that I may read on the go but I am running into an issue. Online it states that there is a "Getting started" link in the Study Plan window (which I do not see) which then has the link to access the ebook. Essentially I need help downloading the ebook. 2. How do I access the pages you are showing in this video? It appears to use Canvas by the style of the website. All I seem to have access to is a "welcome" page and an "online resources" page which looks nothing like Canvas/the website you have in your video. Thanks for the help in advance.

Do I also have to purchase one of these "Limitless Prep" packages to gain access to the ebook? Also, I assume I would need to buy this to access that Canvas like page you are on. I thought just buying the book would be enough.... :(

These videos are always so helpful! I tried Pimsleur for a month based on a previous broader review of yours, and I really liked it. But a few “wishes” I had were things you brought up in this video, like the more structured grammar instruction and having the transcript to visualize the words as I’m practicing speaking them. I’m learning French because my family are looking to move to France next year. Thank you so much for these reviews that have helped me tremendously already!
